I owe so much of my positive birth experience to Jenn. I immediately felt comfort and ease after interviewing her to be my doula, and that feeling carried through the entire process. The educational series she offers before birth gave me so much information I wouldn't have known otherwise. She taught me what was normal and what wasn't, what to pay attention to, and what to mentally prepare for. She is so knowledgeable, but explains everything in such a down-to-earth way. Any question I had, she answered in so much detail, and I always felt informed and reassured. When it came time for the birth, I truly could not have done it without her. She was motivating, supportive, and reassuring every step of the way. She trusted my instincts, helped keep me informed on all my options, communicated with the nurses, and made me feel confident in every decision. Having her there made such a difference! Trying to condense our experience with Jenn into a finite number of characters can't possibly capture how profoundly she impacted our birth experience and our lives. My pregnancy was very high risk, and we knew our daughter would most likely arrive prematurely. Jenn prepared us for every possibility, celebrated with us as we reached key milestones, and was an absolute rock for me and my spouse, Erin, when we welcomed our baby girl at 29 weeks and 4 days. Jenn's 10+ years of experience as an L&D nurse were invaluable. She expertly guided and supported us throughout labor and delivery without missing a beat. She was our champion and a steadfast advocate for me when I was at my most vulnerable. Due in large part to Jenn's support, the birth of our daughter was a peaceful and empowering experience despite the unexpected challenges we faced. Hiring Jenn was the best decision we made. As a same-sex couple, we felt completely accepted, celebrated, and supported by her. She is a true ally, and the LGBTQ+ community is lucky to have her in its corner. If you are looking for a Doula and she is available then stop looking and hire her before you miss out on the best opportunity. She brings years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, doula, and mother of her own children. Madeleine CoghillJenn is INCREDIBLE! I truly don’t think I would have had as good of a labor and delivery experience without her. Because of her, I felt confident, looked after, safe and knowledgeable about what was going on. And not only that, but her presence allowed my husband to be fully present with me during the labor process. He wasn’t stressed or asking a million questions to the medical staff or constantly wondering what I needed because Jenn was there to explain everything that was going on as well as guide him on the things he could be doing to help me. He felt like he had someone there advocating for me and also a teammate for him during the process which was amazing! Jenn also provided us with a few classes during pregnancy that taught us the process of labor and delivery and going over every scenario as well as what the heck to actually do with the baby once they arrive! Everything came from an unbiased and non judgmental place and I felt so comfortable asking her my silliest questions and also knowing she’d 100% support any and all decisions we made. She also checked in on us multiple times after the birth to answer any questions we had and go over everything that just happened. As a brand new mom and so freshly postpartum, it was so nice going over everything with not only an expert in that field, but also someone I trusted so completely. She truly cares so much for you as parents and also for your little one. She was the first person to hold my baby besides me and my husband and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I truly cannot thank her or recommend her enough! She is the best decision we made for our birth plan and if we have any more children in the future, best believe Jenn will be receiving a call. Timothy SpeakeMy wife and I cannot recommend Jenn highly enough. As a first-time father, having Jenn with us during labor and delivery was one of the best decisions we made. Her background as a labor and delivery nurse was immediately apparent. She knew exactly what questions to ask, understood the medical environment intuitively, and brought a level of reassurance that I didn’t know I needed until I was in the thick of it. One thing that really stood out was how well she complemented the care team. Her presence actually freed up our nurses and doctors to focus on the medical side of things, while she and I focused on my wife’s comfort and emotional support. She was never overbearing, which I’d heard can be an issue with some doulas, and every nurse and doctor we encountered was genuinely impressed by her. Her “what to expect” prep classes were great. Detailed enough to feel genuinely prepared, but not so overwhelming that they added stress going in. Her emotional intelligence throughout the whole process was also remarkable. She could read the room, knowing when to step back and give us space and when to nudge our care team to clarify something for us. She made sure we were fed, caffeinated, and taken care of in every small way you wouldn’t think to ask for but really appreciate in the moment. Jenn is not just an outstanding doula. She is an outstanding person. If you are looking for someone who will show up for your family in every possible way, look no further.Posted on Google
Emily ParsonsWe cannot say enough good things about Jenn!! Jenn was our Doula for the birth of our first child, and we had such an incredible experience! Jenn previously worked as a L&D nurse for 10+ years and is a wealth of knowledge for all things birth (and baby) related! Jenn's three educational classes ahead of birth were incredibly insightful and helpful, plus she shared the slides with us afterwards to refer back to (which we have done several times). During my actual labor, Jenn was my biggest cheerleader! She helped us understand everything that was happening and think of potential questions to ask to advocate for ourselves. She helped me into different positions to help labor progress, she brought jello and bone broth to snack on, she made the room feel cozy and relaxed, she helped me mentally process everything that was happening and made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. I had intended to deliver naturally, and my birth ended with an unplanned c-section. There were several moments where my emotions got the best of me and Jenn helped me process everything that was happening and be happy with any direction we went. Afterwards, Jenn visited us in the hospital after birth and did a home visit a week after to help with the home transition. On top of all of this, Jenn sent us a time stamped overview of our birth story and it is something I will cherish forever! There is so much I've already forgotten from that day and Jenn's notes are so fun to look back on! Jenn was attentive, reliable and such a joy to work with! Even the staff at the hospital I delivered at were singing her praises! We loved working with Jenn and would recommend her services to anyone! She is the absolute best! :)Posted on Google

Zach CoreyJenn was the doula for my wife's second labor and delivery and she was terrific. Since Jenn is a labor and delivery nurse as well as a doula, she really is the best of both worlds. She provides the doula support (emotional, candles, music, aroma-therapy, making everyone feel comfortable and supported) but was also very helpful because of her medical knowledge. She was terrific during the actual labor of advocating for my wifeand helping where appropriate. Jenn was respectful with the hospital staff and did not overstep; in fact, the hospital staff seemed happy to have Jenn there. Jenn also visited our house and provided us all of the education and checklists we needed before the labor and delivery. My wife and I highly recommend hiring Jenn as a doula.Posted on Google
Maxim MeeuwesJen was a life saver! I am a physician and wanted to have a doula with a nursing degree who supports evidence based medicine and couldn’t have chosen better! She taught me so much about the physiology of birth and breastfeeding that I never really studied in med school. She gave me and my hubby great lectures in the comfort of our home and we always looked forward to them. I ended up with a c-section due to my baby being breech and strangely felt disappointed I did’t get to experience labor with Jen supporting me (prior to meeting Jen I was really not looking forward to labor at all). She came to the hospital next day after my delivery and having her was such a relief! I didn’t have any family to visit (because we are both immigrants) and she helped easing me into the role of mom with such confidence and care.
